Issues Derail Brady's Weekend Plans...
(May 14, 2012) The Brady Smith Racing
team had their sights set on a pair of Lucas Oil Late Model
Dirt Series showdowns over the May 11-12 weekend at the Hartford
Motor Speedway in Hartford, Michigan and the LaSalle Speedway
in LaSalle, Illinois. Unfortunately, drive train problems on
the transporter on Friday caused Brady Smith to scrap those
plans. Instead of competing in the $10,000 to win events, Brady
spent his weekend at a Peterbilt facility in Michigan, as his
truck was worked on by trained professionals. Keep up with the
latest schedule plans for the #2 team right here at www.BradySmithRacing.com.

#2 Team
Returns to Action in Lucas Oil Series Doubleheader
(May
7, 2012) For the first time since completing the 'UNOH
DIRTcar Nationals' at the Volusia (FL) Speedway Park back in
late February, the Brady Smith Racing team headed to the racetrack
this past weekend (May 4-5) for a pair of $10,000 to win Lucas
Oil Late Model Dirt Series battles. On Friday night at the Tri-City
Speedway in Granite City, Illinois, Brady Smith ran sixth in
his loaded heat race prior to finishing second in his B-Main.
After rolling off from the inside of the tenth row in the 50-lap
feature event, Brady wound up posting a nineteenth place performance
at the St. Louis area venue due to suffering a flat tire.
The dirt-slinging action quickly shifted to the
Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, Kentucky on Saturday
evening for another $10,000 to win showdown. Brady finished
sixth in his heat race and later grabbed the third and final
transfer spot through his B-Main. The Solon Springs, Wisconsin
native started the 50-lapper from the twenty-first position
and following the conclusion of the race, Brady found himself
credited with another nineteenth place effort. Full results

(February
25, 2012) The #2 team wrapped up the annual 'UNOH DIRTcar
Nationals' tonight at the Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville,
Florida, as the World of Outlaws Late Model Series sanctioned
a $10,000 to win battle. Brady Smith qualified thirtieth fastest
in WOOLMS time trials and later grabbed the fourth and final
transfer spot in his heat race behind only Don O'Neal, Dan Stone,
and Donnie Moran. After starting the 50-lap main event from
the outside of the tenth row, Brady stayed on the lead lap and
climbed three positions en route to a seventeenth place effort.
(February 24, 2012) A doubleheader
greeted the Brady Smith Racing team today at the Volusia Speedway
Park in Barberville, Florida. In the $7,000 to win daytime affair,
Brady Smith grabbed the third transfer spot through his heat
race and later rolled off seventeenth on the grid in the 25-lap
feature event. On the sun-baked racetrack, which provided little
to no passing, Brady retired early and finished twenty-first
in the final rundown. In the $10,000 to win UMP nightcap, Brady
ran a solid fifth in his heat race and third in his B-Main.
Unfortunately, he narrowly missed out on a coveted transfer
position into the 40-lap main event.
(February 23, 2012) Following
last night's rain-out, the #2 team returned to racing action
tonight at Volusia in a $10,000 to win World of Outlaws Late
Model Series showdown. Brady Smith qualified twenty-first fastest
of the nearly 80 entrants during time trials and later ran a
strong fourth in his heat race. Despite suffering damage courtesy
of a lapped car in his B-Main, Brady still earned the second
and final transfer spot through his B-Main. The Solon Springs,
Wisconsin standout retired early from the 50-lapper; however,
and was credited with a thirtieth place finish.
(February 22, 2012) Tonight's
$7,000 to win UMP DIRTcar program at the Volusia Speedway Park
in Barberville, Florida was rained-out. This show has been pushed
back to Friday afternoon, which sets up a lucrative day/night
doubleheader at the 1/2-mile, Daytona Beach area speedplant.
(February 21, 2012) Night two
of the 'UNOH DIRTcar Nationals' took place at VSP tonight and
another $7,000 top prize was on the line. Brady Smith timed
in fifth quickest in his group during UMP qualifying and later
finished seventh in his heat race. Unfortunately, Brady suffered
problems in his B-Main and wound up seventeenth, which kept
him out of the 30-lap feature event.
(February 20, 2012) The Brady
Smith Racing team rolled into the Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville,
Florida tonight to kick-off their 2012 racing season and the
annual 'UNOH DIRTcar Nationals.' Brady Smith laid down the second

victory in his B-Main, Brady started the $7,000 to win main
event from the outside of the tenth row. During the course of
